And now a few words from me:

Well, I have had a VERY eventful summer. I arrived in Ontario from Nunavut in June, at the time, I was very pregnant. Thankfully, I had two weeks to settle into my foster home before welcoming my beautiful puppies! I have enjoyed being a mama to them for the past eight weeks but am ready to enjoy my youth with a little less responsibility. What else can I tell you about myself? Well, I LOVE other dogs, especially those of similar size. I currently live
with three Dachshunds, two of whom are super old and well, I just leave them alone, but one is young and playful like me and we’ve become the best of friends. I also live with two human siblings who are seven and nine years old, and I treat them like my 4th and 5th puppies. I adore these little people and can often be found sleeping at the bottom of their beds or enticing them to play tug with me. I’m an active gal who enjoys regular hikes and walks. I’m currently living in the country so adjusting to a city lifestyle may take a bit of time as loud cars and noises can still spook me. One thing I HATE is being contained in a crate. I promise you that I’ll be the “goodest” girl if you just leave me loose in the house; I’m housetrained and non-destructive with no real separation anxiety, especially if you have another doggo to keep me company. Leaving my foster family will be incredibly hard but I know I deserve a family of my own; I have so much love and joy to share with the world!

And now a few words from my foster family:

We have been through A LOT with Lilu! She is such a wonderful mother to her three beautiful puppies who were delivered by emergency c-section on
Canada Day. Even through this trauma she was and still is the most attentive mom. Considering she is still very much a puppy herself, she took her mothering responsibilities incredibly seriously but was NEVER aggressive with familiar or new faces around her babies. She is so smart that even while being a new mama, she’s learnt how to sit and shake a paw. She adores our wirehair Dachshund and would LOVE a similar sized doggy friend in her new home. She is also wonderful with children and is so loved by our two human kids. She is completely housetrained and leash-trained although a loud car or fast cyclist can still spook her. She cannot be crated, for whatever reason, as it really stresses her out. We leave her loose in the house when we go out or at night and she’s completely reliable and non-destructive. She is a bit of a barker when she hears a strange noise or when someone comes to the house. We don’t know exactly what she is mixed with but I can tell you for certain that there is a lot of love in there. She’s a one-in-a-million girl, and I am tearing up just writing this bio. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt this gem will have won the lottery.
