And now a few words from me:
Hi! I’m Chloe and as you can see, I’m a very beautiful girl! I love to go for walks, spend time outside, and cuddle! I also like car rides and being groomed. Mostly, I like to hang with my humans, and I prefer to have all the attention, so no canine companions, please. I really love treats and am very food-motivated, but I must watch my weight due to my previous back surgery. You see, I had IVDD when I was only four years old. These days I need to be
reminded not to jump and use a ramp to prevent further injury. Despite being in my senior years, I still have so much love to give. Would you like to meet?
And now a few words from my foster family:
Chloe is a sweet dog. She settled in quickly but does not like to be left alone. She enjoys being with her humans, and sleeps in her bed on the floor in my room. She was a bit aggressive with our dog, so would be best as an ‘only dog’. She is very food motivated, but it is important for her to maintain a healthy weight due to a previous back surgery. Sometimes she gets excited and needs to be reminded not to jump. She will use the doggie ramp here and has adapted well to the pet door. She has cataracts and requires good lighting to see, and her hearing may not be what it once was. Having said that, she will be a lovely companion in a home with adults.
