Doogle went to his forever home this weekend and it didn’t take long for him to settle in and play with his new best friend Rocky. They are having lots of fun running around the backyard, wrestling and tearing through the house. His parents are so happy to have him and a huge lick to his foster mommy and daddy who took such good care of our little guy. We love you Doogle!
It’s a hard life, let me tell you. I was all dedicated to my blog and was doing a good job of writing and commenting every day – when suddenly there were all new beds in the house that I needed to wear in. I’m not sure about you guys but for me it takes a whole lot of work to wear in a bed. I have to pee on it several times so it gets washed and washed until it is nice and soft. I have to eat and eat so I can gain extra weight so I can leave my body imprint in just the right place in each one. I have to sleep for several hours a day in each new bed. Now THAT is dedication.
I did mean to thank all of our walk supporters but I was really very busy. I also wanted to commiserate about the rain that happened on CDR’s big garage sale day. We usually make around $1000 and this year we made a quarter of that. It rained and rained the whole time.
I’ve been catching up on who has a home, and who needs a home. As soon as I have time to check all the pee-mail I’ve been ignoring and I can unwind from all the hard work I’ve been doing, I’ll fill you in.
I missed everyone! Even the non-smooths and the girls.
